BSA/BAC Four Rivers District Proudly Presents:

2002 Cub Scout Olympics

Come join in the spirit of athletic competition!

What: The day begins with an opening torch ceremony & parade of athletes. Olympic events may include: pulls ups, football toss, softball toss, jump & reach, situps, discus throw, 50 yd dash, 100 yd dash, wheel barrow race, standing long jump, shuttle run, obstacle course.
 Why:   T-shirt & patch for all Scouts who compete. 
Medals for the top three finishers in each Cub Scout rank category (Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos I). 
Possibility of up to 144 medals to be awarded! 
Note: medals will be handed out at the July Roundtable.
When:
  • Saturday, June 15th
  • Registration begins at 8:00 p.m.
  • Opening Torch Ceremony and Athlete Parade at 9:00 a.m.
  • Events run at 9:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m.
Where:

Lindale Middle School (former Andover High School)
415 Andover Road, Linthicum, MD.
Near intersection of Andover Rd & Camp Meade Rd (Rt 170).
Close to the BWI Airport & Historic Benson Hammond House.

  • Fee: $12 if postmarked by May 31st
  • $14 if received by June 14th
  • $16 payable the day of the event.
  • A concession stand will have a variety of drinks and snacks available.
